Women Reading Donald Trump’s Sexist Comments About Women

The Republican group looking to block GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from the nomination is going on-air with an ad showing women reading some of his sharpest knocks on other women.

“Bimbo,” reads one woman.

“Dog,” reads another.

“Fat pig,” reads a third woman, as the ad, “Real quotes from Donald Trump about women,” is introduced.

“A woman who is very flat-chested is very hard to be a 10.”

Speaking of actress Nicollette Sheridan, Trump told Howard Stern back in 2005 that women, whom he apparently grades on a numeric scale based on their appearance, will have a hard time earning a “10” grade if they are “very flat-chested.”

“I’d look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers”

One of Trump’s worst moments may be his 2006 feud with Rosie O’Donnell, who criticized Trump for his support of Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner. Following the pageant, which Trump runs, Conner was found to have partook in underage drinking and drug abuse — a huge scandal for the pageant circle’s squeaky-clean image.

Trump’s tirade against O’Donnell:

Rosie O’Donnell is disgusting — both inside and out. If you take a look at her, she’s a slob. How does she even get on television? If I were running The View, I’d fire Rosie. I’d look her right in that fat, ugly face of hers and say, “Rosie, you’re fired.” We’re all a little chubby but Rosie’s just worse than most of us. But it’s not the chubbiness — Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out.

“Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?”

In September, Trump took aim at Republican opponent Carly Fiorina for “that face.”

“Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?” Trump blustered.

“She had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin. She was crazy, but these are minor details”

Months after Princess Diana was killed in an automobile accident in 1997, Trump told Stern he thinks he could have slept with her, saying she had “supermodel beauty.” In a different interview in 2000, Trump said he would have slept with her “without hesitation” and that “she had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin.” He added, “She was crazy, but these are minor details.”

“I like kids. I mean, I won’t do anything to take care of them. I’ll supply funds and she’ll take care of the kids.”

In a separate 2005 interview in April, Trump talked about how he wanted to have more kids with newlywed wife Melania: “I mean, I won’t do anything to take care of them.”

“You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.”

From an interview with Esquire in 1991.

“Must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees.”

Speaking to Brandie Roderick on Celebrity Apprentice.

“Blood coming out of here, wherever”

At the first Fox News Republican debate, Trump was unable to handle questions from Megyn Kelly.

“You have to treat ’em like shit.”

From New York magazine, Nov. 9, 1992.

Trump Tweets He Can’t Watch “Crazy” Megyn Kelly Anymore

Twitter

Donald Trump continued his campaign-long tirade against Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on while the Florida primary concluded.

“Can’t watch Crazy Megyn anymore. Talks about me at 43% but never mentions that there are four people in race. With two people, big & over!”

Reality

Trump won Florida.

Trump Heckles Latino Protester

A group of immigration hecklers took on presidential candidate Donald Trump during a campaign event in New Hampshire.

Trump was taking questions at the historic Exeter Town Hall building in Exeter, where his supporters were packed in like sardines. Also in the mosh pit, it turned out, were a few opponents of the candidates’ position on immigration.

One young woman began asking the Republican candidate for president a question by identifying herself as being from Southern California.

“What are you doing here?” Trump asked. “Are you a liberal Democrat, by any chance?”

After the woman mentioned that immigrants “do the work that nobody else wants to do and for a lot less,” the real estate tycoon asked, “Who told you to be here? Bernie [Sanders]?”

“This is a Bernie plant,” Trump said, referring to Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. “This is a Bernie plant.”

Another audience member then yelled out that immigrants living in the country illegally are the “backbone of this country.” In response Trump heckled back:

Illegal immigrants are the backbone of our country? I don’t think so, darling. You know what the backbone of our country is? People that came here, and they came here legally … and they worked their asses off and they made the country great.

Trump Flip-Flops on Calling Megyn Kelly a Bimbo

Twitter

A single day after he had said he wouldn’t refer to Kelly as a “bimbo,” a term used to insult women, because doing so would “not be politically correct” Donald Trump tweeted the following:

Reality

Megyn Kelly is many things, “journalist”, political hack, cover-girl, but as critical we are of her a bimbo she is not. As a lawyer she’s argued cases in front of the United States Court of Appeals, wrote articles for the American Bar Association‘s journal, and (when convenient for her) knows her way around the Constitution.

Usually politicians have some time between they flip-flop to afford them a bit of a buffer. Apparently Trump couldn’t go 24 hours without reverting to his sexist ways.

Also… this.

Trump States Hillary Got Schlonged by Obama in 2008

Donald Trump attacked Hillary Clinton in vulgar terms Monday night, saying that her bathroom break during the last Democratic debate was just too “disgusting” to talk about and then stating she “got schlonged” by Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential race.

Even a race to Obama, she was gonna beat Obama. I don’t know who would be worse, I don’t know, how could it be worse? But she was going to beat — she was favored to win — and she got schlonged, she lost, I mean she lost.

When confronted by a backlash, The Donald doubled-down and mansplained how suggesting Clinton got fucked is not vulgar.

Reality

Schlonged means penis in Yiddish.

Trump Interrupts Fiorina to Criticize Her Interrupting

Donald Trump risked accusations of unchivalrous behavior at the Republican presidential debate Tuesday, asking his fellow candidates why former Hewlett-Packard chief executive Carly Fiorina kept “interrupting everybody.”

It all began when the real estate bigwig answered a question on foreign policy, saying he had a good personal relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes,” he said. “If Putin wants to go and knock the hell out of ISIS, I am all for it, 100%.”

Fiorina responded with a shot at the front runner’s foreign policy chops, saying she had also met the Russian leader, “not in a green room for a show, but in a private meeting.”

Apparently stung, Trump cut in as Fiorina competed with Kentucky Senator Rand Paul for time on a foreign policy answer. “Why does she keep interrupting everybody?” he said, to nervous laughter and some boos from the audience.

(h/t Time)

Reality

Trump jumped into a fray that he wasn’t even a part of to make an observation that could be considered sexists and misogynist. Fiorina wasn’t the only one interrupting but yet he singled her out for criticism.

Trump on Fiorina: ‘Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?’

Carly Fiorina

After speaking to a reporter from Rolling Stone magazine, Donald Trump sparked condemnation for remarks he made about the appearance of Carly Fiorina, a rival presidential candidate.

Look at that face, Would anyone vote for that?

Can you imagine that, the face of our next next president? I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?

Trump Reignites Megyn Kelly Feud With ‘Bimbo’ Tweet

Twitter

Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly returned Monday night to host “The Kelly File” following a 10-day vacation, but her extended R&R seemed to have no relaxing effect on her loudest critic: Donald Trump.

In a series of late-night tweets, Trump accused Kelly of being “off her game,” and suggested she “must have had a terrible vacation” because she was “afraid to confront” her guest, Cornel West, on the subject of immigration.

Trump followed up his tweets with a couple of retweets from supporters who called Kelly a “bimbo” and her show “a waste of an hour on Fox.”

The Republican front-runner’s feud with Kelly — sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.

Retweeting comments like these are sexist, disgusting, and well below the office Trump is seeking.

Protester Calls Trump Not a Friend to Women

It’s not easy to put brash Donald Trump on the spot. But that’s exactly what a young woman did during an event in New Hampshire.

“So, maybe I’m wrong, maybe you can prove me wrong,” said Lauren Batchelder, a student at St. Anselm College in Manchester. “But I don’t think you’re a friend to women.”

It turns out she is a volunteer for the Jeb Bush campaign, though the Bush folks say she attended the event on her own accord. Some Trump supporters suggest the questioner was a plant from the Bush campaign where she has volunteered.

Reality

The Bush campaign says she was at the event on her own and the campaign did not “sanction” her question. That is plausible, but it is also just as plausible that she was a plant.

However that does not matter at all and it (obviously intentionally) redirects attention from the actual argument. Trump has made seriously sexist and misogynist comments over the course of his entire campaign. He is not a friend to women.

Trump Cherishes Women

CNN's Jake Tapper

Presidential candidate Donald Trump defended himself from the fierce backlash he’s received for criticizing Fox News debate moderator Megyn Kelly, insisting he said nothing wrong and that he values women.

I cherish women. I want to help women. I’m going to be able to do things for women that no other candidate would be able to do” the real estate mogul told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union,” adding that he did not mean to imply that Kelly asked him sharp questions during the debate because she was menstruating.

“Who would say that?” Trump said Sunday. “Do you think I’d make a statement like that? Who would make a statement like that? Only a sick person would even think about that.”

He blamed his Republican presidential opponents for fanning the flames of controversy, and claimed he meant to refer to her “nose and/or ears” — not a woman’s period.

Reality

In the context of the conversation one can extrapolate that Donald Trump was implying Megyn Kelly was angry at him, coincidentally inventing a new idiom about blood and eyes. Regarding the “wherever”, men in the U.S. joke say that women who are menstruating are angrier or more aggressive than they usually are. It doesn’t take a genius to accept that Trump was speaking about Kelly’s lady bits.
